Full Stack Mobile Engineer

MT3 is a consultancy firm committed to support the technology development in Sweden by connecting experienced Mexican engineers with Swedish companies.

We are looking for a skilled Full Stack Mobile Engineer who will be instrumental in developing high-quality, cross-platform mobile applications using React Native, along with robust server-side solutions using Node.js. You will work closely with our product, design, and engineering teams to build and maintain scalable mobile applications that deliver a seamless user experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native.
  • Design and implement scalable server-side applications and APIs in Node.js.
  • Ensure seamless data integration between the frontend and backend components of the application.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure the technical feasibility of designs and to enhance user experience.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed, reliability, and scalability.
  • Handle the full deployment lifecycle, including CI/CD, testing, and release to app stores and production environments.
  • Maintain and improve code quality through writing unit tests, automation, and performing code reviews.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, feature requests, and discuss interface/user-experience improvements.
  • Stay up-to-date with new technology trends, applications, and protocols in mobile development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, software engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven experience in mobile application development with React Native.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript and experience building back-end services with Node.js.
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Experience with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
  • Experience with version control tools such as Git.
  • Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
  • Strong analytical skills with a good problem-solving attitude.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of AWS cloud services 
  • Familiarity with push notifications, APIs, and cloud messaging.
